Applications are opened for mining entrepreneurs to be part of the Australia 2019 Experience

The tour seeks that the participants know the Australian ecosystem to establish a collaborative and lasting relationship with similar companies.

Santiago, January 2nd, 2019. If you are a mining supplier and you are interested in arriving in Australia, you can not miss this opportunity: the applications have already been opened to be part of the Australia 2019 Experience, a mission that seeks participants to know the Australian ecosystem to establish a collaborative and lasting relationship with similar companies in that country.

The tour is organized by the consultancy Vantaz, Endeavor and the Association of companies for the innovation and export of products, intensive services in knowledge and technology for the mining sector (Minnovex). The initiative has the support of the Chilean-Australian Chamber of Commerce (Auscham), the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), the Center for Copper and Mining Studies (Cesco), Expande Mining, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, ProChile, Alta Ley Corporation, the National Mining Society of Chile (Sonami) and the University of Queensland.

“This is the third mission that we organize to Australia, but the first in which we made a public-private effort of this magnitude”, said Mauro Mezzano, Vantaz’s partner.

José Manuel Correa, Executive Director of Endeavor, emphasized that “this tour has a collaborative focus, since the objective is to look for potential partners, and includes meetings with similar suppliers, mining companies, innovation centers, and universities”.

For its part, Alejandra Molina, general manager of Minnovex, called for mining suppliers to register “as it is a unique opportunity to learn about the Australian reality and to potentially do business in that market”.

The mission for the cities of Brisbane and Adelaide will take place during the second half of June and will last for about 10 days.

The registration process will be extended until February 28th, and then a committee composed of Cesco, Alta Ley Corporation, ProChile and University of Queensland will select the companies that will be part of the Experience Australia 2019.
