Last august 12th an interesting meeting was held with the recently appointed executive president of CODELCO, Octavio Araneda, CESCO executive director Alejandra Wood and its president Leopoldo Reyes in order to maintain continuity of the historical cooperation between both organizations. The civil engineer, specialized in mining, currently holds the position left by Nelson Pizarro.

Leopoldo Reyes highlighted at the event the history of CESCO and their long constructive relationship with CODELCO, as well as the opportunities the mining industry faces for its development and relationship with the environment. 

“We hope to deepen the cooperation in the activities that promote mining development in line with the demands of the XXI century: sustainable, inclusive and virtuous in its contribution to the comprehensive development of the country”, he emphasized.
